Join us for the 2023 SDSMA Annual Leadership Conference! With presentations, discussions, networking opportunities and social events, the Annual Leadership Conference is a great time to share ideas and learn.

Opioids and substance use is the focus of this year's conference. Educational sessions will be held on the facts of opioid use, what can be done to reverse this crisis, safe prescribing, substance use disorders, and more. Opioid prescribing continues downward while overdose and death related to illicitly manufactured fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine increase -- further amplified by underlying social needs. Reversing the use and impact of illicit drugs requires physician leadership, an emphasis on overdose prevention/treatment, and coordinating efforts and best practices.

The conference is a benefit of your SDSMA membership. There is no conference registration fee (ticket purchase required for some events and meals).
