2009 AMA Annual House of Delegates Meeting
A delegation of SDSMA leaders attended the annual AMA House of Delegates meeting June 13-17, 2009. President Obama spoke to the AMA House of Delegates on the issue of health care reform.

SDSMA Health System Reform Task Force
This task force, comprised of members of the SDSMA Committee on Legislation and the Committee on Medical Practice, is meeting regularly to discuss the latest developments and to guide the direction in which the SDSMA is taking to address health system reform. The first meeting of the task force was held July 15, 2009, in Sioux Falls.
